Neighbourhood Enablers

Launched in April 2012, Neighbourhood Enablers began working with local residents in Hastings & Rother in partnership with Hastings Furniture Service, Rother Voluntary Action and Rye Partnership. Funded by the Government's Social Action Fund, over 40 community-led projects were supported, 344 volunteer enablers were directly recruited and trained who in turn recruited a further 650 volunteers.
